Online Lessons Now Available via Zoom
Downtown Creative Studios has taken steps to make sure music lessons can continue through any situation. The online platform which DCS will have the opportunity to use is called ‘Zoom’.Zoom is an online video platform with HD video and audio capabilities. Downtown Creative Studios will be able to use this platform to conduct music lessons no matter the circumstances.
How it works:
1. Your teacher will add your email to a Zoom session at the specified day or time
2. A link will be sent to your allocated email address
3. The teacher will open the video chat at the allocated time of your lesson.
What you need to do:
1. Open the email on your desktop, laptop, iPad* or iPhone*. Click the link sent by your teacher at the allocated time of your lesson.
2. Enable video and audio (do not be on mute)
3. Have you and your instrument ready to go.
4. Make sure you have enough lighting so the teacher can see you
5. Have an amazing lesson!
*Please note if you are using an iPad or iPhone, you must download the ZOOM app for free from the APP store.
